Zakharova accuses Europe of trying to split Moscow and Minsk

France and other European countries are trying to drive a wedge between Moscow and Minsk, but these attempts are doomed to fail.

Axar.az reports that Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova made the remarks.

“But it is clear to us that Paris and other European capitals are openly pursuing only one goal — to create a rift between Moscow and Minsk and weaken the Union State.

Any attempts by malicious actors to sow discord between our brotherly countries, which are united by centuries of shared history, friendship, and good-neighbourly relations, are doomed to fail,” Zakharova said.

It should be noted that on May 24, French President Emmanuel Macron held a phone call with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
