Kaja Kallas warns against Iran–US escalation

A return to full-scale war would come at a tremendous cost to the entire region.

Axar.az reports that EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas stated on the X social account.

“I spoke to Iran’s Foreign Minister Araghchi about the latest escalation in the Gulf and the state of negotiations with the US. I’ve also been in touch with the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister, Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. The resumed attacks on the Gulf countries and their critical infrastructure are unacceptable. A return to full-scale war would come at a tremendous cost to the entire region. The diplomatic route remains the best path out of this war,” Kallas wrote.
