Six people dead in shooting in northern Germany

Five people are dead ​after a shooting ‌in the northern German town of Stade, and ​a male suspect ​has been detained.

Axar.az informs, citing Reuters, that the ​motive is currently unclear.

Local media reported that the incident had ​taken place in ​a youth centre in central ‌Stade, ⁠a town of just below 50,000 people to the west ​of Hamburg.

Police initially reported a death toll of five adults, but later on Monday said it has risen to six.

Five people died at the scene, while the sixth died in the hospital due to injuries sustained during the shooting.
