Russian forces launched a large-scale overnight attack on Kyiv on July 6, using ballistic and cruise missiles as well as drones, after at least nine people were killed in the capital.
Axar.az informs, citing Ukrainian media, emergency responders from the State Emergency Service (SES) continue searching for residents trapped under the rubble.
According to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko and Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Tymur Tkachenko, rescuers evacuated 15 people from a residential building in the Podilskyi district, where part of the structure collapsed. Three women and six children were rescued from the upper floors.
Klitschko said apartments on both sides of the building were destroyed, and search operations for additional victims are ongoing.
Overall, 43 people have been injured in the capital, while the death toll has reached nine, Tkachenko said. Klitschko added that two of the injured were hospitalized.
Meanwhile, a fire also broke out in a five-story residential building in Kyiv's Holosiivskyi district, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration.
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky warned that Russia was preparing another massive strike on Ukraine ahead of the NATO summit.

The death toll among civilians from the massive missile and drone strikes on Kyiv has risen to 10, while 46 people have been injured.
The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, announced the update on his Telegram page.
Damage has been recorded at nearly 20 locations across different districts of Kyiv.
People are believed to remain trapped under the rubble, and officials have not ruled out further changes in the casualty figures.
