Trump arrives in Ankara for NATO summit

U.S. President Donald Trump has arrived in Ankara to attend the NATO Summit.

Axar.az reports that Trump was welcomed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the airport before heading to bilateral meetings at the presidential compound.

During the summit, Trump is expected to hold talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as well as a series of bilateral meetings. He is also scheduled to take part in meetings of NATO leaders.

The president, flying aboard the new Qatar-donated Air Force One plane, landed in Ankara after an overnight flight from Washington.

The U.S. delegation includes Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Assistant to the President Dan Scavino, Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller, Communications Director Steven Cheung, Chief of Staff Mike Needham, White House Staff Secretary Will Scharf, personal aide Walt Nauta, Logistics Manager Chris Ambrozini, Operations Manager Richard Walters, Ambassador Monica Crowley, Personal Communications Adviser Natalie Harp, and other senior officials.
