Parts of Bandar Abbas, Qeshm, Bandar Lengeh, and Hajiabad in southern Iran came under enemy attack on Sunday afternoon.

Axar.az reports according to IRNA, several explosions were heard in parts of Bandar Abbas on Sunday evening. The situation is still being assessed, but official sources said all of the targeted locations were military sites.

Areas in Hajiabad County, Farur in Bandar Lengeh, and Qeshm were also targeted.

Qeshm Governor Hossein Amir Teymouri confirmed the attacks in an interview with IRNA, saying that 10 to 11 enemy projectiles struck the island.

He said all of the targets were military in nature and, so far, there have been no casualties as a result of the attacks.
