UK fully switches to eVisas

The United Kingdom has fully transitioned to electronic visas (eVisas) from July, meaning visa stickers will no longer be placed in passports.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that the information was published by the British Embassy in Moscow.

"From July 2026, visa vignettes will no longer be issued to new applicants. Previously issued visa vignettes in passport sticker form will remain valid for travel until their expiration date. As the UK completes its transition to a digital immigration status system, visa vignettes will no longer be issued," the statement said.

The embassy noted that all new visa applicants will instead receive an electronic visa (eVisa).
