Trump signals final chance for Iran before military action

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday that he wanted to give Iran "every last chance" to reach a negotiated solution before any further military action.

Axar.az reports, citing CBS, that President Trump made the remarks to reporters in the Oval Office.

"Well, you don't know, I don't know, I think we're going to maybe get something," Trump said. "But I want to give them every last chance before decapitation. Very tough to do what we have planned, still planned. We'll see what happens."

"I'm very proud of the fact that I will give people, I'll give people a chance," he added.

Trump's remarks came after he again signaled a preference for negotiations over immediate additional military action against Iran.
