Rezaei: Iran halted planned strikes on Ukraine

We were ready to strike three regions in Ukraine, but after they said the attack had been a mistake, we halted our response to examine their claim.

Axar.az reports that the statement was made by Mohsen Rezaei, military adviser to Iran's Supreme Leader.

"In any case, they will have to pay the price for their attack," Rezaei said.

It should be noted that on July 25, an Iranian cargo ship was attacked in Russia's territorial waters in the Caspian Sea, killing one crew member. Following the incident, Iran accused Ukraine of carrying out the attack.
