Kyiv considers moving parliament to safer location

The relocation of Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada to a safer location is being discussed due to frequent air raid alerts in Kyiv.

Axar.az reports, citing local media, that Ukrainian MP Mykyta Poturaiev made the remarks.

“We put one law to a vote because an air raid alert was declared twice. It is clear that the Verkhovna Rada cannot operate in this mode. I think the situation will get worse. There is a safer location in Kyiv where parliament could relocate its operations,” he said.

However, Poturaiev did not disclose where the location is.
