Tanker struck by three projectiles in Strait of Hormuz

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported that a tanker was struck by three unknown projectiles while completing its outbound transit of the Strait of Hormuz.

Axar.az informs that UKMTO shared the report on X, saying the incident occurred approximately 17 nautical miles east of Khasab, Oman.

No casualties or environmental impact have been reported.

Authorities are investigating the incident. UKMTO advised vessels operating in the area to transit with caution and report any suspicious activity.
