Ukraine strikes Kuibyshev oil refinery in Russia -

Ukrainian drones have struck the Kuibyshev oil refinery in Russia’s Samara region.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that the attack occurred overnight on September 22 and triggered a large-scale fire at the facility.

The Kuibyshev refinery specializes in producing a wide range of petroleum products, including motor and diesel fuel, aviation kerosene, fuel oil and bitumen.

The refinery is one of the leading oil industry facilities in Russia’s Volga region, with an annual refining capacity of approximately 7 million tons.
