Putin: Russia wants to end Ukraine war

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia wants to end the conflict in Ukraine.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that Putin made the remarks at a press conference in Bishkek, responding to a question about the Kazakh president’s proposal to freeze the conflict along the line of contact.

“We do not want to freeze it; we want to end the war and achieve lasting, absolute peace in Ukraine and in Europe in general, and we are ready for this negotiating process with everyone who wants to take part in it,” he said.
