Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned international partners, airlines and insurers operating flights to Russian cities about the growing risks of using Russian airspace.

Axar.az reports that Zelensky said Russian airspace is becoming increasingly dangerous due to the growing number of drones.

He stressed that Ukraine poses no threat to civil aviation, including civilian aircraft.

“There will simply be so many drones in Russian airspace that we need to pay attention. Although the Russian authorities are not properly communicating this, Russian airspace will effectively be closed: the war launched by Russia is closing its airspace,” Zelensky said.
