Trump: I’m not forcing Iran to negotiate

U.S. President Donald Trump said he is not trying to force Iran to the negotiating table, dismissing a report by ABC News.

Axar.az reports that Trump made the remarks on Truth Social.

“I’m not trying to force Iran to the bargaining table, as ABC Fake News reported. I couldn’t care less if they sign a worthless, to them, agreement,” he said.

He added that he preferred the current U.S. position, claiming that Washington has “almost total control” of the Strait of Hormuz and that Iran’s economy is “totally collapsing.”

“They are just playing out the inevitable,” Trump said, before asking: “When are the Iranian people going to rise up and fight?”
