Ukrainian drones attacked the Russian city of Novorossiysk, home to Russia’s largest seaport, overnight on September 9.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that the target of the attack was the Novorossiysk fuel oil terminal, which is part of the city’s commercial seaport.

The terminal receives fuel oil transported by rail, stores it and loads it onto ships. It has an annual handling capacity of around 4 million tons. At least one fuel tank was damaged in the attack, while a major fire broke out at the terminal.

A fire also broke out in a high-rise residential building on Volgogradskaya Street.
