Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping actively offered to help facilitate a resolution to the conflict in Ukraine during their contacts with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the BRICS summit.
Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that Peskov made the remark to a journalist.
“During their bilateral contacts, Modi and Xi took a detailed interest in the issue of a settlement in Ukraine and actively offered their good offices to help find a solution to the problem. Putin welcomed their readiness and provided detailed information on the situation,” he said.
