Ukraine and Turkiye discuss safe navigation in Black Sea

Turkiye consistently supports Ukraine’s efforts to protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity, ensure safe navigation in the Black Sea and restore normal life in the Black Sea region.

Axar.az reports, citing local media, that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made the remarks at a press conference following a meeting with his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

“President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and I discussed a number of ideas and proposals that could help us achieve these goals,” Zelensky said.

He noted that he had reached an agreement with the Turkish president to continue working on the Black Sea Grain Corridor.
