We did not have the opportunity to stop the war with minimal territorial losses.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during his speech in the Armenian parliament yesterday. He said talks about ending the war with minimal territorial losses were a myth.

According to him, three attempts were made to reach a ceasefire with Azerbaijan, but we couldn`t make it.

During his speech, Pashinyan said that the issue of non-return of Azerbaijanis to Shusha was never discussed in the talks on Karabakh:

"I would like to draw your attention to the fact that more than 90% of the population of Shusha are Azerbaijanis. In other words, could Shusha, with a 90% Azerbaijani population, remain an Armenian city?”

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin claimed that the war in Karabakh could end with fewer casualties.
