Personally, I do not believe that there will be a military confrontation between Iran and Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan while commenting on Iran's military exercises on the border with Azerbaijan.

He said that due to Israel's relations with Azerbaijan, Iran cannot target Azerbaijan:

"Because the number of Azerbaijanis living in Iran today is obvious. This, of course, makes you think. It is not so easy. The work done is wrong. I think that the new Iranian leadership will not continue this mistake. "
