Due to the escalation of the situation around Ukraine, it may be the largest war since the end of World War II.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

"I fear that this plan, which we are now witnessing, could lead to the biggest war in Europe since 1945," Johnson said.

According to him, there are some signs that Russia has begun to implement its plan to occupy Ukraine.

The prime minister said based on intelligence that the Russian army was planning to lay siege to Kyiv.
