Grain corridor stops: Ukraine accused

Due to the Russian-Ukrainian war, the number of ships transporting Ukrainian grain through the grain corridor has sharply decreased.

Axar.az reports that the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine has released information about this.

According to information, the average number of grain carriers leaving Ukrainian ports in January decreased to 2.7 per day.

The ministry directly accused the Russian side of obstructing the work of the corridor:

In the first month of the new year, only 2.4 million tons of grain were exported from Ukraine. In September and October last year, this number was more than 4 million:

"In general, during the operation of the corridor, 18.3 million tons of grain were transported, of which 2.3 million tons were exported to Africa, 5.1 million tons to Asia, 7.5 million tons to Europe, and 3.4 million tons to the Middle East."
