Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin met with Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu in Moscow.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in the information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.

"Various aspects of interaction between Moscow and Beijing at the UN, including its Security Council and General Assembly, as well as within the framework of a number of specialized institutions, were carefully reviewed. The parties highly appreciated the traditional close bilateral cooperation based on close partnership and strategic interaction between our states in the UN space. We have demonstrated a principled attitude to mutual consideration of interests and concerns when dealing with major international issues," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
