Russian President Vladimir Putin established a new award in Russia - the Order named after Yuri Gagarin.

Axar.az reports that this was reported on the government's official internet portal.

According to information, the order will be awarded for services in cosmonautics. The award will be presented for achievements in the training of scientists, engineers and other specialists in this field, in the development, production, testing and accident-free operation of rocket and space equipment, in the creation and application of new technologies, and in conducting research.
