The famous Soviet cosmonaut, Hero of the Soviet Union Alexander Viktorenko died at the age of 76.

Axar.az reports that this was reported by the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center.

It should be noted that Alexander Viktorenko made four flights into space in 1987-1995 and stayed there for about 490 days. The cosmonaut went into open space six times, lasting about 20 hours.

In one of his speeches, Viktorenko, together with Alexander Serebrov, tested the movement of cosmonauts in open space (space motorcycle) for the first time.
