Arkov: Paris is taking revenge for this from Baku

Karabakh separatists are ready to sacrifice the lives of peaceful Armenians to achieve their utopian political goals.

Axar.az reports that these words were told by Vitaly Arkov, a Russian political scientist, expert on the South Caucasus, and head of the "PolitRus" expert and analyst network.

"Certain difficulties related to supplies to Karabakh are a notorious lie exaggerated by the official Yerevan and Paris to realize their nefarious goals in the region: there is no mass hunger, no humanitarian disaster. If the situation in Karabakh was really deadlocked, the militants who did not allow the trucks of the Red Crescent Society carrying high-quality Azerbaijani flour to enter the territory would be crushed by Karabakh Armenians themselves, and we would observe thousands of refugees flowing towards Armenia through Lachin. All this does not exist, just as there is no humanitarian disaster in reality. But the representatives of France, including the mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo, are trying to enter the sovereign territory of Azerbaijan illegally. Illegally, because Karabakh is the territory of Azerbaijan recognized by the international community. Only the official Baku decides which foreign missions will be allowed into this region, including the Armenians living there. Currently, only the Russian and Turkish peacekeeping contingents from the Azerbaijani leadership have the relevant mandate. There is no humanitarian crisis in Karabakh, only a political crisis artificially created and incited by Armenia and France. The residents of Karabakh do not need the help of Paris at all, moreover, the French and Armenian sides refuse to give the Azerbaijani side the right to a comprehensive inspection of the goods they are trying to bring to Karabakh under the name of humanitarian aid," he said.
