Turkish private arms company "Canik" has delivered more than 600 heavy machine guns to Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that the UK's "Middle East Eye" website has published information about this with reference to sources.

"It is known that since the start of the war last year, Ankara has been quietly supplying Kyiv with drones, laser-guided missiles, protective equipment and armoured vehicles. But recently, Turkiye has started supplying Canik M2 heavy machine guns," the website said.

It was noted that several contracts were signed with "Canik" in March of this year:

"The agreement provides for the supply of more than 600 machine guns. More will be sent in the coming months."
