Russian President Vladimir Putin has proposed resuming direct negotiations with Ukraine starting May 15 in Istanbul without any preconditions.

Axar.az reports, citing TASS, "We propose to begin without delay, already next Thursday, May 15, in Istanbul — where the talks were previously held and where they were interrupted," Putin said to journalists at the Kremlin.
