Serbian forces have partially withdrawn from the administrative border with Kosovo, and the US expects further de-escalation.

Axar.az reports that this was said by Vedant Patel, the deputy head of the press service of the US State Department, at a briefing.

It should be noted that the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, said that on September 24, around 3:00 a.m., unknown persons opened fire on the Kosovo police officers near the village of Banska in the Leposavic municipality in the north of the region. Kosovo President Vyosa Osmani blamed "Serb criminal gangs" for the attack. After that, the tension between the parties increased.
