North Korea has deployed troops and heavy weapons to the demilitarized zone near the border between the two countries after a partial suspension of the military agreement with South Korea.

Axar.az reports that South Korean military officials said that North Korean soldiers armed with heavy equipment have regained their positions in several places since November 24.

It should be noted that on November 22, Seoul suspended a part of the agreement between the two countries to reduce military tension in 2018. The decision was made in response to North Korea's launch of a military intelligence satellite. The government has also decided to resume intelligence and surveillance at the border.
