Iranian president’s visit to Azerbaijan gains momentum

110 private sector activists and an economic delegation from Ardabil province and the northwestern provinces of the country will travel to Azerbaijan ahead of Pezeshkian’s visit.

Axar.az reports Hossein Pir-Moazzen, the Vice President of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, stated: "On April 28, the President’s delegation will visit Azerbaijan to prepare for the final agreement and preparations."

The Vice President of the Iran Chamber of Commerce also mentioned that along with the four governors of the northwestern provinces, including Ardabil, Gilan, East Azerbaijan, and West Azerbaijan, who will accompany the President on the trip to Azerbaijan, 110 to 120 private sector activists in the form of an economic delegation and the Iran-Azerbaijan Parliamentary Friendship Group will also travel to Baku along with several representatives.

Pir-Moazzen added: The trip will begin on the evening of the 28th of April, leading up to the President’s visit to Azerbaijan, with the goal of laying the groundwork to strengthen the relations between the two countries.
