Trump urges 30-day ceasefire

US President Donald Trump has called for a 30-day "unconditional ceasefire" between Ukraine and Russia.

Axar.az reports that Trump wrote about this on his "Truth Social" account.

"Negotiations with Russia and Ukraine are continuing. The United States, as an ideal option, calls for a 30-day unconditional ceasefire. We hope that a satisfactory ceasefire regime will be observed and that both countries will be responsible for protecting the integrity of these direct negotiations," Trump noted.

Trump stressed that if such a ceasefire regime is violated, the United States and its partners will impose additional sanctions.
