USA banned: Do not go to these areas in Armenia!

The US embassy in Armenia called on the employees of the embassy and their family members not to go to certain areas of Armenia.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in today's statement of the US Embassy in Armenia.

"U.S. Embassy employees and their family members are prohibited from all non-essential travel to the following locations:

- Goyche region, to the east of Basarkecher

- Zangezur region, east of Gorus

- Zangezur region, south of Gafa

- You can move through Vedi district, Arazdeyan village, stopping is prohibited.

US citizens should continue to exercise caution near all international borders between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Please note that some parts of the road may cross international borders without prior warning signs. Roads may be controlled by checkpoints or closed to travellers without warning," the statement said.
