More than 2,000 mujtahids and mullahs from the Qom Seminary and its affiliated religious centers in Iran stated on August 1, declaring the "shedding of Donald Trump's blood and plundering of his property" halal.

"From now on, the blood and property of the cruel and criminal murderer Donald Trump are halal, and it is the moral and religious duty of every Muslim man, woman, and freedom-loving person anywhere in the world to take the blood of martyrs. This action is only for the sake of just punishment and the legitimate defense of religion, Islam, and the nation," the statement said.
