On August 1, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, received Dragana Kojic, Head of the Azerbaijani Delegation, whose mission with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) was concluded, on the occasion of the completion of her diplomatic activity in our country.
Axar.az reports that according to the information provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Jeyhun Bayramov thanked Ms. Dragana Kojic for her efforts to develop cooperation during her activity in Azerbaijan and wished her success in her future activities.
At the meeting, the parties exchanged views on issues such as the ICRC's activities in our country over the past 33 years, the current state and prospects of the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the recovery and reconstruction work carried out in the liberated territories, the mine threat, and the fate of missing persons.
At the meeting, the counterpart expressed satisfaction with the support and cooperation provided by the Azerbaijani Government to the organization's activities.
The importance of continuing cooperation with the ICRC through its headquarters in Geneva was emphasized even after the delegation ceased its activities in early September of this year.
