Bayramov receives the new Israeli ambassador

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel to Azerbaijan, Ronen Krausz.

Axar.az reports that according to the information provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the meeting, the ambassador presented a copy of his credentials to Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.

The Foreign Minister congratulated the ambassador on his appointment and wished him success in his diplomatic activities in Azerbaijan.

Then, issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Israel, as well as the regional situation, were discussed. Cooperation between the two countries in the political, economic, trade, energy, agriculture, investments, security, and humanitarian spheres was appreciated, and it was emphasized that relations have broad development prospects.

It was noted that the tense situation in the Middle East region is of serious concern. Azerbaijan calls for the establishment of peace and stability and is always ready to contribute to this process.

The new ambassador stressed that he will spare no effort to expand cooperation between the two countries during his term.

During the meeting, views were also exchanged on other issues of mutual interest.
