Those who are trying to question Turkiye's unwavering support for the Palestinian cause today are the same ones who once slandered Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that these words were uttered by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan while speaking at an event of the country's Youth Foundation in Istanbul.

"Some are trying to question our unwavering support for the Palestinian cause. Wasn't it you who called the people of Gaza who were defending their land terrorists yesterday? Where were you in Syria for 14 years? Where were you when a million people were being killed and our Syrian brothers and sisters were being oppressed and tortured? Were you not the ones who slandered Azerbaijan with the arguments of the occupiers while Karabakh was fighting for its freedom with the support of our country? Don't be offended, but you can't deceive anyone," R.T. Erdogan declared.
