The commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi has agreed to become Ukraine's ambassador to Great Britain.

Axar.az reports that Yevheniy Shevchenko, a member of the Verkhovna Rada, said this.

It should be noted that in recent days, the rumours about Zaluzhnyi's possible resignation have been widely discussed in the Russian, Ukrainian, and Western media.

According to "The Economist" magazine, Zaluzhnyi was also offered the position of secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, but he refused it.
