Does Iran have nuclear weapons? - IAEA's response

The fact that Iran has large reserves of enriched uranium does not mean that Tehran has nuclear weapons. The IAEA has no information about the existence of Iran's nuclear program.

Axar.az reports that the head of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi, said this after the meeting of the UN Security Council.

"A very high concentration of uranium does not automatically mean the presence of nuclear weapons. We have no information or indication that Iran has a nuclear program. I hope to visit Tehran in a few weeks to discuss Iran's highly enriched uranium issue. I think I will be able to bring the situation to a high level of cooperation."
