Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has confirmed that he will hold talks with the leadership of the Kurdistan Autonomous Region in Erbil after Baghdad, the capital of Iraq.

Axar.az reports that the head of state said this in a statement to journalists.

"This will be a one-day visit. First, after the talks with the Iraqi president and prime minister in Baghdad, we will visit Erbil. There we will have the opportunity to discuss the problems of northern Iraq," Erdogan said.
