In recent days, according to several confirmed reports, some target groups, including the media, have been attacking the Armenian armed forces for spreading false information and disinformation that undermines the reputation, discipline, and combat effectiveness of the army.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in the appeal issued by the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

"It is interesting that the mass media, citing anonymous sources, publish information of unknown origin without coordination with the relevant department of the Ministry of Defense.

The Ministry of Defense urges you to refrain from spreading lies and misinformation and to rely on the official reports and statements of the administration," the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

It should be noted that information has been spread about the military joining the demonstrators in Armenia, as well as the resignation of some mercenaries from the army as a sign of protest against the return of 4 villages of Gazakh.
