Sunak announced early elections in Britain

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced early elections for July in the country after holding a meeting with his cabinet today.

Axar.az reports that Rishi Sunak made a statement to journalists in front of the Prime Minister's office and said that early elections will be held on July 4.

He said that he asked King Charles for permission to dissolve the parliament and that the parliament will be dissolved next week.

The Prime Minister noted that now is the time for Britain to choose its future.
