The UN Security Council strongly condemned the terrorist action in Dagestan.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in the press release from the TC.

"The members of the UN Security Council strongly condemned the terrible and cowardly terrorist act committed in Dagestan on June 23," the statement said.

It should be noted that on June 23, armed militants attacked two Orthodox churches, a synagogue and a traffic police post in Darbend and Makhachkala, and a criminal case related to terrorist acts was opened. Law enforcement officers and civilians, including a priest, were killed. Security forces killed five militants.
