The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, commented on the statement of the head of the Russian Investigative Committee (IC), Alexander Bastrykin, that the perpetrators of terrorist acts in Russia are Islamists.
Axar.az reports that he wrote about this on the Telegram channel.
Kadyrov advised Bastrykin to be extremely careful when calling criminals Islamists:
"I have said many times and I emphasize again that Muslims did not and do not commit terrorist acts. At the same time, I hope that Alexander Bastrykin will no longer compare Islam with terrorism."
Ramzan Kadyrov stressed that if high-ranking officials make such statements, it can have extremely bad consequences for the social and political situation in the country:
"Today in Russia, the peoples are united and united like never before. We should value this factor, we should not divide the society into good and bad religions.
