Russia became the chairman of the UN Security Council

The chairmanship of the UN Security Council has been transferred to Russia for a period of one month.

Axar.az informs that TASS reported on this.

According to reports, the first meeting of the Security Council led by Russia will be held on Monday morning New York time. The work program of the Security Council for the coming month will be approved at the meeting.

It should be noted that the Russian Federation managed the work of the main structure of the world organization for the last time in April 2023.
