Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban proposed a short-term ceasefire to Russia and Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that Orban said this in an interview with "Die Veltvoche".

The minister said that he first presented his proposal to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. However, he categorically rejected the offer.

Orban then presented his idea to Vladimir Putin. The Russian leader said that he is not optimistic about this matter.

Both sides believe that the enemy can take advantage of the forced pause and regroup forces.
