UN Secretary-General António Guterres will participate in the BRICS summit.

Axar.az reports that this information was provided by Vladimir Kuznetsov, head of the BRICS Information Office in Russia.

"The UN Secretary-General António Guterres will participate in the BRICS summit as an invited guest. We expect that important agreements will be reached at the summit to achieve all the goals of the 2030 sustainable development agenda and to make life on our planet safe and prosperous," Kuznetsov stated.

It is noted that the next BRICS summit will be held in Kazan, Russia, from October 22-24 this year.
