Ukraine may have to relinquish the territories it lost in the conflict with Russia.

Axar.az reporta that this was stated by former NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in an interview with the Financial Times.

"Finland bravely fought against the Soviet Union in 1939. The Finns inflicted far more damage on the Red Army than expected. The war ended with them losing 10% of their territory. However, they secured a safe border," Stoltenberg said.

According to the former head of the alliance, progress in this direction is possible after the presidential elections in the United States in November.
