We strongly condemn the attack on the Christmas market in the German city of Magdeburg.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Omer Chelik, spokesperson for Turkiye's ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), on his social media account.

"Our greatest wish is for the attack to be swiftly clarified and for those responsible to be brought to justice. We extend our condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and wish a speedy recovery to the injured. Once again, we reaffirm our principle of fighting terrorism and violence in all its forms," he added.

It should be noted that 11 people were killed and about 80 others were injured after unknown individuals drove a vehicle into a crowd in Magdeburg.
