A powerful earthquake has occurred on the Azerbaijan-Armenia border.

Axar.az reports that according to the Republican Seismological Service Center under the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.

It was stated that the earthquake, recorded at 03:01 local time, had a magnitude of 4.8 and a depth of 9 kilometers. The quake was felt with a strength of 4 points at the epicenter.

Additionally, at 03:03 local time, a second earthquake with a magnitude of 3 occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers. This quake was not felt.

Later, at 03:07, a third earthquake with a magnitude of 3.8 occurred at a depth of 12 kilometers. This was felt at the epicenter with a strength of up to 4 points.
